Meet Helen Phillips!
Helen comes to The Sanctuary with 12 years of experience.
After receiving her first massage (a gift certificate from her daughters), Helen became keenly interested in pursuing massage therapy as a career. In 2002, she became a full time student at the Northeastern Institute of Whole Health and soon there after became a licensed massage therapist (LMT). While studying, her passion and enthusiasm for massage therapy intensified and she then began her path in continuing her education which included training in:
- Neuromuscular Therapy
- Hot Stone Massage
- Cranialsacral Therapy
- Transitional Body Work
- Fibromyalgia/Myofascal Pain Syndrome
- Aromatherapy
- Lypossage (a massage for weightloss!)
- and much more!
One of the most intriguing aspects of Helen’s work is her expertise in Indian Champissage, an Indian head massage that is deeply relaxing!
